7 Random Things About Me...

My sis Carley tagged me with this one. It took me a while to come up with 7 things that were interesting enough about me to post. They still aren't very interesting, so... sorry :)

1. I LOVE needles and blood! One of the reasons I wanted to be a nurse so badly is so I could give people shots, start IV's and draw blood. I also really enjoy watching surgeries and births. Tyler does NOT appreciate or share my passion :)

2. I love grocery shopping.

3. I get very irritated and anxious when my home is cluttered and messy.

4. I hate taking any kind of medication. I have to be REALLY sick before I'll consider taking anything.

5. I love, love, love my treadmill and have walked on it 3-4
days a week for the last 6 1/2 years. It is my stress release and the only way I stay "sane". Hey, it's cheaper than therapy, right? I just had to reaplace my old one :( It had a good run, but I LOVE my new one even more :) Isn't she a beaut?

6. I want to learn how to play the guitar, and sew. I really wish I knew how to sew.
.

7. I just started reading the Old Testament cover to cover for the first time in my life, and I'm really enjoying it! I highly recommend the Family edition the Church has published. It is excellent!

Now, I will tag... Mary, Kalani and Rod

Of course you are interesting...EWWWW blood and guts are not my thing, but I am so glad to have a nurse in the family!!! Nice treadmill!!! I love to grocery shop too, just not hauling the bags into the house and putting everything away!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!

It was fun to read these things about you. You guys have made your apartment so cute. I would be glad to teach you to sew but I suppose your mom would probably do a better job. Looking forward to seeing you guys in July.

I can't believe you love needles and blood, I'm cringing just thinking about it. Don't you love the fan on the treadmill! I also love to grocery shop. I know some people hate it but I could spend hours in there, if not for a whiney two year old. I'm impressed by the reading of the old testament, I think that was the hardest year in seminary for me to stay interested.

We're so much alike! Well, except the needles and blood part...that we're on complete opposite ends of the spectrum! I was just getting on to comment about your missionary night...I'm really proud of you guys for taking your missionary calling so seriously! That is great and lots of people will be blessed because of you! Keep it up..love Kim

Good for you on starting to read the Bible- started last year and got through Genesis and couldn't go any further- I will have to look into the family edition. I read the family edition of the Book of Mormon and it really helped me learn a lot as I went.

I've always wanted to know how to sew too! I tried crocheting around a blanket for the baby and gave up after about 10 minutes!

I'm with you on the sewing thing. I really wish I would have had Grandma Vone teach me some of her many skills. I learned how to use my sewing machine last year from the Beehives in my YW class, but I still can't sew a straight line!

Kristen, you will probably have to have Kalani teach you to sew, you know me, i did not have the patience to learn when mom was alive, I know some basics but I am probably even less patient in teaching, so good luck, love the treadmill, good to know you are not running through the streets of LA, you loved getting stuck with needles from a very early age, it amazed me and the nurses and Dr's that took your blood or gave you shots, give my babies a hug see you in July MOM
