Paint, Duct Tape and Imagination

Tyler is the cutest dad EVER! I can not tell you how blessed I am that I have him as a husband. He is always coming up with fun little projects for Halle and Donovin to do. He loves to spend time with them and plays with them every spare second he gets. He's such a great dad and so much fun. Take a look at what he and Halle did Saturday afternoon while Vinny and I were konked out on the couch...

The treadmill box has been sitting in our garage for the last couple of weeks waiting to be turned into a fort, or so Tyler thought. I guess Halle's big blue eyes convinced him otherwise.

The kids love their "playhouse" as they call it. Tyler got inspiration by looking at pictures of little play houses on-line that were darling, but cost as much as a mortgage payment. The kids seem to love the cardboard box just as well and I don't have to feel bad if they loose interest in it.

Vinny popped his head out of the window and said "Heh-yo!" In Vinny talk, that means hello. Don't you love the charming little window boxes?

Tyler adding the window to the door and the mail slot. We had to make sure to take the house inside once all the paint was dry or else it would be turned into someone's real house under the 405! So sad, but true.

I asked Tyler why he is so cute and how he comes up with all these fun ideas for the kids. He said he guessed it's because he's just a big kid at heart. Our kids are so lucky to have such an amazing daddy!

It looks like the kids are dressed for winter, was it cold that day, the house looks like so much fun, as kids are they like cardboard and pots as much as expensive toys, and like you say when they get bored just toss it no money down the drain. Have a great day love to read your posts

I love the playhouse. Makes me want to get a fridge or treadmill or something really big so my kids can make one. I miss hearing Vinny say Heh yo. Can't wait to see you guys in July.

What a good daddy!!!!!! that is too cute! HEy Kristen didn't you get the note? the one about how it is actually against the rules to remain as skinny as you were in high school after bearing 2 children! It is simply not allowed, the next time I look at your blog, I hope to see you looking more plump. I have found frequent trips to Sonic, Mcdonald's and Wendy's has really helped me out in this area. Good Luck cutie.

Totally cute!! I always knew Tyler would be a great dad, but he's even exceeded my expectations :)

It helps that he has such darn cute kids. If they weren't so cute, he'd probably give them a microwave box and tell them to make their own dang playhouse.

Just kidding :)

Can't WAIT to see you guys in a few days! Sunny California here we come!!!!
